Dallas, TX CPA firm has a contract-to-hire position for a Senior Tax Accountant. This is a contract-to-hire position. 100% ONSITE in Dallas, TX 75204.
Senior Tax Accountant (contract-to-hire):
Job description:
Tax Returns for: Individual, partnerships, S-Corps, C-corps (minimal experience needed for C-corps)
Experience with review of the returns
Have a range of high level returns w/ basic returns
Must have recent tax return experience within a year of last tax season with the laws changing
Make sure the basic data entry is correct, make sure its set up correctly to process
Clean up bottleneck of returns
CPA not required, but helpful
Top 3 Keys:
Min of 3 Tax Seasons
Strong understanding of 1040’s w/ some exposure to S-Corps & Partnerships
Teachable Spirit & looking to stay somewhere long term
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3 tax seasons experience
Complex Tax Returns, Income Tax Returns, Individual Tax Returns, Partnership Tax Returns, S-Corps
Prepare Tax Returns, Review Tax Returns
