Aerotek Structures Mechanic in Dallas, Texas

Job Description

This role involves researching technical data and performing inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft sheet metal structures, including main landing gear fittings, aircraft skins, and floor beams. You will work in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company policies. Your tasks will include reading and interpreting blueprints, fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products, and making appropriate entries in maintenance logs. This position requires working on commercial aircraft and involves physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 50lbs. The role is available in first and second shifts and offers competitive pay rates based on experience.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Marana, Arizona.

Work Environment

The work environment includes physical demands such as sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, and frequent bending, stooping, and squatting. You will operate equipment such as hydraulic press brakes, power shears, and rivet guns. The role is based in the B777 Cargo Conversion Program but may require working property-wide. Potential hazards include exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperatures, and materials identified on Safety Data Sheets. Protective equipment like goggles, safety glasses, and gloves will be provided
