Reference #: 85347-360721 GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: To develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to achieve and maintain appropriate Quality targets defined by internal, industry, and customer standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Publishes and revises quality procedures and policies (as required). Develops Quality and inspection plans based on contractual requirements. Interfaces with customers on Quality issues and manages QMS and special-process audits. Reviews contractual requirements to ensure internal requirements, procedures, and specifications compliance. Maintains build records of shelter configuration as required by contract. Provides direction and support to inspectors, including interpretation of specifications. Reviews nonconformances and determines/concurs on disposition. Analyzes and implements corrective action requests and provides feedback for continuous improvement. Reviews drawings for Configuration Management as needed. Supports the development of quotations for new business (as required). Monitor QA department spending against assigned programs. Troubleshoot and investigation corrective actions (RCCA) Other Job Functions Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BS/BA in a technical field or equivalent experience ASQ certified Quality Engineer or equivalent experience or ASQ certified Quality Auditor or equivalent certification or experience Preferred: Prior experience in a quality engineering role. SPC experience and/or training; geometric tolerancing; ISO 9000 training; (AS9100) Microsoft Office proficiency

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Office environment Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones) Ability to lift iup to 10 pounds
