Water Quality (‘WQ”) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater, and ocean water in residential, commercial , industrial, and natural resource applications. About Role

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This role is

  • Responsible for the monthly reporting and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

  • Develop forecast models based on comparative performance metrics and implement improvements as the business grow.

  • Develop business cases to support pricing decisions and create innovative strategies for cost reduction

  • Monitor financial status by comparing datasets with projections.

  • Improve fiscal health with thorough analyses of financial data: develop deep, actionable insights to drive business performance by monitoring variances and identifying trends

What You'll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)

  • Work directly with Finance Controller on various planning exercises, such as forecasting, budgets, profitability analysis, and reporting.

  • Assist in the monthly close process by analyzing trends and variances related to revenue, and compare and correct data to reconcile transactions.

  • Develop and maintain confidential, protected databases to monitor business performance, and provide commercial managers with insights into risks and opportunities.

  • Coordinate requirements for efficient, automated accounting to increase productivity and ensure verified backups

  • Uphold standards through consolidation of quarterly reporting packages and thorough internal analysis of financial data

  • Strive to advance personal skill set through networking, workshops, and other educational opportunities

  • Review, validate and overseeing the sub ledger processes such as Account Payables, intercompany receivables and payables posting and employees expense claims.

  • Prepare management accounts and other operational accounting reports

  • Involve and assist for the year-end financial compliance reporting including group reporting package, external audit, tax return etc.

  • Prepare income tax estimates, computation and ensure timely submission to authority including indirect tax and deferred tax

  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and lawyers on all finance and sales related matters

  • Drive continuous improvement processes and procedures in relation to the finance/accounting related matters.

  • Adhere to company's business process, policies and procedures.

  • Interaction and team participation with other members in the company.

  • Assist with and undertake other duties as determined by the Finance Controller from time to time

What We Are Looking For (Skills & Qualifications)

  • CPA or equivalent.

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance .

  • A minimum of 5 years post qualification relevant working experience.

  • Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of Excel / Data analysis tools, ERP system

  • Focus, diligent and a ‘can do’ attitude.

  • Be meticulous, analytical, “hands-on” and able to meet tight deadlines.

  • Detail oriented and organized, strong planning, prioritization, communication and presentation skills

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Able to produce accurate work within deadlines
