Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a MIG Welder in Davenport, Iowa, and contribute to the fabrication and welding of steel parts in both production and R&D settings. This role involves working from formal drawings, sketches, or concept development while upholding the highest safety standards. You will have the opportunity to fabricate and weld both production items and new product prototypes, utilizing tools, assembly equipment, fixtures, and material handling equipment efficiently and safely.

  • Hours 6:00AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday

  • Pay $20- 25

Hard Skills

  • Welding certificate, diploma, or degree

  • 2-5 years of experience in a fabrication and welding environment

  • Ability to read and work with blueprints and sketches

Soft Skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Ability to work independently without micromanagement

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Davenport, Iowa.

The work setting comprises a team of 20-30 people across multiple buildings in Davenport on the same street. The environment may be darker and dirtier in certain areas and some buildings may appear run down. However, this position offers significant learning opportunities as it involves a variety of tasks beyond production welding, allowing for growth and development in the field.
