Where is the work: This is a Remote position within region (northeast/mid Atlantic)

The Regional Customer Finance Manager will be responsible for promotion and education of our consumer and commercial finance programs to drive equipment sales as well as the communication and execution of marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, Corporate Finance and Customer Financing, this individual will work with lenders and our business units to ensure execution of key program marketing, communication and sales. This role is one of three regionally assigned territories covering our leading financing programs in the United States and Canada. Our residential consumer programs generate significant national volume and represent a key responsibility under this role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Sell and train distributors and dealers on consumer programs and commercial financing.

  • Identify opportunities to sell finance under the programs, train contractors and distribution on how to be effective at selling equipment and services by using the programs; resulting in greater access to attractive credit sources for our customers, higher sales call close rates, increased revenues and improved margins.

  • Assist in execution of marketing activity with other regional managers, the assistant treasurer, our lenders and our business units including communication, advertising, web materials, reporting, program development and other marketing functions.

  • Direct responsibility to support private and company owned distribution and contractors to educate them on and promote usage of the programs.

  • Resolve customer issues as they arise and help make the program user friendly.

  • Provide feedback on program effectiveness and work with the business unit sales and marketing teams to continually improve the programs to facilitate increased profitable revenue and market share for the business.

  • Identify market segments and coordinate sales and financing activity accordingly to maximize effectiveness.

  • Internal and external communication, public speaking to large groups in seminar environment to promote and train. Communication with smaller groups to sell the programs and resolve any issues.

  • Internal communication with business units to develop, improve and communicate programs. Deal with sales management and sales staff including regional sales managers and product managers in sales and marketing functions.

  • Deal with distributor principals and managers as well as contractor principals and staff that handle and/or sell programs. Senior lender management interactions as well as mid-level managers, program manager and staff.

  • Must be capable of handling a wide variety of situations with employees, customers and finance companies at various levels to maximize opportunities while managing through any challenges.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is required.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience desired.

  • Travel – majority within region (northeast/mid Atlantic) and nationally as required (shows/plant visits/etc.) as well as seasonal (Q1/Q2 = 30%/every other week may involve some travel, Q3 = very light, Q4 occasional)

  • Direct experience in financial sales or marketing is preferred.

  • Strong financial acumen is critical.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be an organized self-starter. Demonstrated sales ability would be a plus.

  • Ability to build a positive rapport with personnel through a matrixed organization.

  • Must exhibit a positive attitude and be able to maintain poise under pressure.

  • Strong MS Office capability.

Base Compensation Range is $114,500-130,000 plus incentive. Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
