In this position…

The Product Owner is responsible for the identification, development, execution, and ongoing management of the Digital Customer & Dealer Experiences. You will have a laser focus on utilizing everything in your playbook to ensure we deliver the best customer and dealer experience through all channels (Dealer Portal, Mobile App, Web, Fleet Telematics, etc) with a focus on feature development and delivery. The Digital Experience you deliver will help build a Best-in-Class scheduling and service experiences for both the customer and dealer.

What you'll do…

  • Defining, grooming and development of features based on customer/dealer experience, competitive benchmarking, consumer trends and dealer feedback, etc.

  • Collect and incorporate global customer and dealer feedback into platform capabilities and roadmap priority for retail and commercial businesses.

  • Collect and incorporate stakeholder input from marketing, technical, privacy, legal, finance and accounting teams to ensure the proper capabilities and priorities are reflected on the roadmap.

  • Work closely with your Operations, Architecture, and Integration teams to develop and prioritize business requirements across software platforms and applications needed to deliver customer/dealer value across the Ford value chain.

  • Work with product designers to create and validate User Interface designs and wireframes.

  • Work with product managers to translate customer/dealer needs into a backlog of user stories for software engineers and accept these user stories as they are completed.

  • Act as the voice of the customer and dealer with all product analysts, product managers, senior leadership and development teams.

  • Success looks like a clearly articulated product strategy, vision and roadmap with milestones to get us from now to a launched commercial product that has been informed by user research, user testing and experimentation.

  • Communicate the vision to all stakeholders.

You'll have...

  • A Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines / technologies / processes as a Product Manager, Program Manager,

  • DevOps or similar discipline.

  • 3+ years of product management experience working in a fast-paced, environment where priorities shift on a regular basis.

  • 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced agile environment using creative problem-solving skills to make decisions.

  • 3+ years experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.

  • 3+ years experience with end-to-end product delivery.

  • 3+ years experience in front-end customer experience products.

  • 3+ years experience managing a complex backlog with many stakeholders. • Managing product development within Rally

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s Degree or MBA

  • Experience in applying Human Centered Design practices to customer experience design, product development and/or Software Development

  • Technical background with ability to quickly understand a specific domain and identify the trends and opportunities in that space.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

  • Firm grasp of capacity-based planning

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to senior leadership.

  • Excellent business judgment and demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.

  • Self-starter who is customer obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player.

  • Experience with Commercial/Fleet Operations are a plus.

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
