In this position...

The Vehicle Merchandising Assistant Manager is responsible for deeply understanding customer needs and optimizing the presentation, organization, and promotion of our vehicles throughout Lincoln.com to deliver an easy and outstanding shopping experience to meet customer needs during the path to purchase. This role will work with our Business Partners, Software Product Managers, Analytics and Research teams, as well as lead an agency team to execute merchandising strategies and tactics.

This is a hybrid opportunity in our Wagner West and World Headquarters locations and the team normally is onsite 3 days/ week.

What you'll do...

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert on vehicle shopping patterns and customer needs - Gains a deep understanding of current and evolving trends, competitive activity, & technology advancement to inform strategies and tactics

  • Collaborate with team members (Business, UX, Software Engineering, Finance, etc.) to translate business goals and end user needs into strategy and tactics to execute that deliver value

  • Drives business value daily by pulling, analyzing, and translating web analytics and behavioral data into actionable insights to enhance sales, conversion and customer satisfaction/task completion across Lincoln.com with forecasted values for each to set goals, KPI’s, and prioritization

  • Clearly identifies pros, cons, issues, obstacles, and dependencies for actions

  • Formulates, tests and refines assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing to refine tactics

  • Implements merchandising strategies and tactics including but not limited to: Brand strategy, content strategy, natural search and site search strategy, customer way-finding including navigation and product categorization/filtering, effectively mixing and managing static and dynamic content, leveraging personalization tools, ratings & reviews, building collections and developing seasonal promotions.

  • Communicate new capabilities and content strategies supported with facts and data to business stakeholder groups to provide context for change

  • Influence cross-functional team members to effect Pricing & Promotional strategy, product catalog enrichment, and advertising/media with data-based recommendations and testing

  • Lead a cross-functional agency team to identify and implement strategies, tactics, and creative development

  • Collaborative leadership focusing on seeking to understand and solving together

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in digital or merchandising, with a working knowledge of website development, platforms, analytics, and customer experience design

  • 3 + years of experience in eCommerce merchandising strategies and tactics including but not limited to: Brand strategy, content strategy, natural search and site search strategy, customer way-finding including navigation and product categorization/filtering, effectively mixing and managing static and dynamic content, leveraging personalization tools, building collections and developing seasonal promotions.

  • 1+ year of experience working with Adobe Suite of Products – including AEM, Target, Analytics and Audience Manager or similar product.

  • Working knowledge in SEO strategies and trends

  • Automotive industry experience

  • Retail Merchandising experience

  • Agency experience

  • Product Management experience

  • Multi-Variant Testing experience

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis

  • Ability to break down complex tasks or requirements into simpler, more manageable tasks

  • Delivers results consistently even under tough circumstances

  • Experience communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams

  • Aptitude to recognize roadblocks and escalate issues as needed

  • Experience managing agency/partner relations

  • Experience working with a Software Product Organization to influence product strategies and roadmaps

  • Excellent analytical skills with great attention to detail and the ability to drive results-oriented decisions. Data-driven mindset within proven utilization of information to drive decisions, calibrate and provide results

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
