We are inviting applications for the role of a Accounting Manager based in Decatur, Georgia. The selected candidate will be a part of our finance team and will play a key role in managing and controlling the company's monetary resources and affairs. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the preparation of financial reports and statements

• Ensure the accuracy of the financial data and compliance with relevant laws and regulations

• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes

• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans

• Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues

• Handle monthly expense reports of the company

• Develop and manage financial systems and policies

• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations

• Document and ensure proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies.

• Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations

• Advise management on cost optimization and financial planning.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Accounting Manager role or similar

• Demonstrated skills in Month End Close Processes

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to supervise and guide a team.
