Repair and restore commercial trucks through body repair and sanding techniques. Apply bonding agents for effective repairs. Files, grinds, sands, and smoothens surfaces using a range of power and hand tools. Fits and welds replacement parts, diligently grinding down welds for seamless integration, followed by priming and painting surfaces using high-grade paint spray guns and motorized sanders. Follows detailed instructions from supervisors, prioritizing tasks such as sanding for painting and the careful masking of parts for protection. Employing specialized techniques like dolly blocks and hammers to eliminate dents. Thoroughly cleans surfaces post-repairs, ensuring adherence to specified requirements. Awareness and adherence to safety protocols including proper handling of hazardous materials, understanding safety regulations, and using protective gear. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of prior work experience.
