ProMedica RN/ Patient Care Supervisor in Defiance, Ohio

The Patient Care Supervisor for the Obstetrics unit, through role modeling, coaching and facilitation, will coordinate high quality, effective patient care, while assisting staff to maintain clinical practice, professional, and critical thinking behaviors.
- Coordinate all patient care activities, fostering departmental standards of care and positive patient outcomes
- Manages shift operations related to patient flow, staff assignments, bed control, and rounding with care team members to facilitate meeting patient care needs
- Leads the team in meeting service needs of patients and their families to provide positive patient experience
- Serves as the clinical expert for technical and professional standards of care to ensure high quality of care
What we need:
- BSN required or must be obtained within 3 year time frame. Must be a graduate of an accredited school or nursing.
- Must have RN license in the state of Ohio
- BLS, ACLS required
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years in nursing in a patient care area; preferably in Women's Services
- Problem-solving, organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
