Join our innovation team as a Senior Lab Technician working side by side with other technicians and scientists in the field of Analytical Sciences in Biotechnology and food ingredient development. You’ll have excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a global and intercultural environment.
You will join the Chromatography Analysis & Characterization team which is responsible for developing, implementing, and performing analytical methods to analyze compounds like metabolites, lipids, and/or carbohydrates in complex microbial and food matrices. This team is part of Analytical sciences center which applies advanced analytical workflows using i.e. LC, GC, MS and NMR including sample preparation and data handling and maintains a state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
You accurately plan, prepare, conduct GC and/or LC analyses with different detection techniques like UV, FID and MS according to a defined method of analysis including sample preparation.
independently operating the GC and/or LC systems, , reporting to our partners, and archiving of the data.
processing and interpretation of the data using advanced data analysis techniques to interpret chromatographic results.
Present and discuss results to scientists and team members.
Reporting and archiving data according to internal guidelines.
Assist in development and improvement of analytical methods together with scientists in the analytical field.

Based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of € 44,752 to € 63,931 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6% my choice budget and much more. Please be aware that the salary may vary based on your experience.
You Bring
You possess a background in food technology, and/or biotechnology and at least Bachelor or HBO degree in (Analytical) Chemistry or related science.
Preferable you will have a view year of experience with applying GC(MS) and/or LC(MS).
Given the nature of the R&D environment, you can show a high level of ownership.
You can show willingness to learn new things, grow and develop.
You are accurate, result-driven, flexible, and a team-player.
Due to the international nature of the Center, your English proficiency is crucial.
