Denver RATIO is seeking a talented and passionate BIM Specialist to join our design studio in Denver, Colorado.

With 20+ years of experience, RATIO is well-versed in the value Building Information Modeling (BIM). RATIO BIM Specialists are valued and impactful members of project teams, primarily focused on design technologies in pursuit of design excellence. Our team includes diverse experience and nationally recognized experts who speak regularly at conferences such as DBEI Digital Built Week (BiLT) and AutodeskUniversity on BIM training, planning, and implementation of best practices. We are seeking a talented and passionate design technologist to add to our dynamic BIM Team. RATIO BIM Specialists connect with teams from our studios in Indy, Champaign, Raleigh, Chicago, Denver, and Milwaukee. A BIM Specialist engages project teams and leadership across the firm in support and promotion of design technology, BIM setup and planning, training, support services, office standards, and the effective and efficient use of BIM on all projects. Some architectural production work should be anticipated to stay current and coordinated with project teams, and toward the continued refinement of standards. Participation in the development, testing, and implementation of new workflows and software will be important. Responsibilities

BIM project setup and project technology planning and management throughout the project life cycle including clash detection/prevention at relevant stages of the project. Assist teams with the generation of BIM implementation plans and other technology related plans, protocols, and/or workflows. Work to maintain BIM quality and fidelity, adherence to BIM plans, and adherence to modeling and information standards. Implementation of effective information protocols and workflows between internal project teams and external consultants Coordinate with firm wide Design Delivery group and document/communicate best practices for BIM. Manage Revit standards, content, and templates. Coordinate applications support and troubleshooting with the IT group and firm-wide helpdesk. Develop and conduct training sessions for users at all levels of expertise. 50% of time to be directly billable to projects. Active participation in the BIM & technology community both locally and nationally

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have: High-level of proficiency in Autodesk Revit in an architectural design and production environment, including the ability to administer, install, and configure Revit including add-ins. Demonstrated experience supporting Autodesk Revit, and an aptitude and comfort level with training and technical support in one-on-one, remote, and in group class settings. Expert knowledge in Revit Family creation Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor's in Architecture, or Master's in Architecture (or equal) Experience working in Revit Architecture in a production, administrative and/or support capacity on projects of differing scales. Working knowledge of professional architectural services from master planning/schematic design to construction contract administration Ideal candidates will also have: Experience with project management, design, visualization, and environmental analysis applications such as Newforma, AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Navisworks, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Sefeira and/or others. Experience in clash detection utilizing BIM360 Model Coordination, Navisworks, or Revizto Knowledge of API customization and/or Dynamo LEED Accreditation and/or professional licensure
