Robert Half Collections Specialist in Denver, Colorado
Description We are in search of a Collections Specialist situated in Denver, Colorado. This role will be part of a thriving telecom provider industry, where you will be responsible for managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of payments. This is a short term contract position offering an opportunity to work with a large customer base, handle numerous accounts, and resolve customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a large customer base, focusing on the top 50 accounts along with several hundred others that require attention.
• Undertake B2B collections, ensuring processes are streamlined and efficient.
• Regularly engage with customers through phone calls and email statements.
• Work on the Accounts Receivable inbox, answering customer queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Use software such as Sage Intacct and Yay Pay to manage and track customer data.
• Apply your skills in Collections, Commercial Collections, and Microsoft Excel to effectively perform tasks and manage accounts.
• Collaborate with different business units that operate in varied manners but use the same systems and collection processes.
• Handle accounts of some international customers, ensuring global standards are met.
• Do not partake in Cash Applications as they are separate.
• Work from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, ensuring all tasks are completed within the stipulated work hours. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated experience in Collections
• Familiarity with Commercial Collections
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Prior experience in a financial institution or similar role is preferred.
