DUTIES: 1. Develop and implement system to manage documentation policies and procedures required to import and export merchandise and materials. Oversee all import and export activities to ensure timeliness and quality of products. 2. Prepare customs documentation to ensure that international shipments meet applicable laws and regulations. 3. Oversee risk assessments of import and export compliance programs. Perform in-depth inspections to ensure all facilities follow established laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. 4. Resolve complex issues and provide expeditious solutions to clients, customs officials, and shippers. 5. Interface with Management and Legal Team to resolve legal compliance issues or concerns regarding import and export of products. 6. Perform analysis and reports for Customs Reconciliation. 7. Track import/export application status, maintain database of granted export approvals, satisfy record-keeping requirements, and prepare required reports. 8. Provide a full range of proactive import compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, business development, shipping, security and other functional areas within company. 9. Assist company with maintaining up-to-date Customs Compliance Policies and Procedures.10. Remain current and astute on customs rules and regulations and other related requirements for global shipping. 11. Train staff members on import/export government laws, rules, and regulations as they pertain to organizations products, services, and technologies to ensure compliance in all aspects and departments

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade & Customs, or International Business (or foreign equivalent education)

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Coursework in Customs Law, Mexican Foreign Trade Development, and Tariff Legislation.

TRAVEL BENEFIT: Travel within the United States and to foreign countries annually up to 10% of time

SALARY: $ 68,307.00 - $78,000.00/ year BENEFITS: PTO available
