Because of our growth, Woolpert seeks a Geospatial Analyst to work on site in the Denver, CO and San Antonio, TX areas, supporting United States Department of the Air Force (DAF) installations for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) GeoBase program. Analyst will be part of a fast-paced team developing and executing geospatial solutions for the DAF GeoBase program. GeoBase analysts are expected to create and maintain base maps and enterprise GIS data in coordination with headquarters-level program leadership. The analyst will work as part of a team supporting installations worldwide. Analyst will utilize Esri ArcGIS desktop and enterprise solutions to meet installation and GeoBase program geospatial requirements, coordinating with GeoBase Service Desk managers working in an Agile project management environment.

Requirements: U.S. citizenship Two (2) to four (4) years of geospatial experience Active Tier 1 Investigation (National Agency Check and Inquiries NACI), or security clearance, or the ability to pass a Tier 1 Investigation. Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening Extensive knowledge of Esri ArcGIS software and capabilities: Two (2) years of experience using ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap) or ArcGIS Pro Two (2) years of experience using Portal for ArcGIS or ArcGIS Online (AGOL) Two (2) years of experience in a role requiring: Excellent problem-solving and consulting skills with emphasis on client and team member engagement Proven experience providing excellent customer service Strong technical proficiency using Microsoft Office products Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for our dynamic working environment Attention to detail - proven experience meeting data quality assurance and accuracy standards Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills Ability to work independently, collaboratively as part of a team, and as a member of a large organization Ability to offer constructive feedback and problem solving, as well as clear direction to support goals Desired Qualifications: Experience with the DAF GeoBase program Experience with the Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) GIS data standard or other defined spatial data model. Experience with Oracle databases, database management software, or SQL Proficiency with Esri ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, or ArcGIS Enterprise Proficiency using ArcGIS Data Reviewer extension Proficiency in processing and using geospatial imagery and LiDAR data Experience with Agile project management methodology using Atlassian or similar platforms Experience in enterprise GIS Experience with DoD geospatial data and systems Responsibilities: Mission: Deliver Trusted Geospatial Engineering Data, Maps, and Services Create and maintain Air Force Civil Engineering GIS data in an enterprise environment, managing a versioned, multi-user geodatabase Create, update, and produce a variety of installation, range, and vicinity maps, drawings, plans, and other graphic representations using cartographic techniques to represent spatial data Perform data quality assurance and control (QA/QC), ensuring compliance with Air Force and Department of Defense geospatial data standards Perform regular and frequent data updates in coordination with analysts or government personnel located at DAF installations and other locations Work closely with end users in the Air Force installation GeoBase offices (GIOs) and other base organizations to support GIS requirements, technical issues, and training needs such as data stewardship, ArcGIS applications, SDSFIE data model, enterprise capabilities, and GeoBase program o Utilize the GeoBase Agile framework to enable task visibility and project transparency to AFCEC client: Use Agile platform (Jira, Confluence) to record all processes and tasks, and manage all projects Maintain detailed continuity folders and AF GeoBase Knowledge Base, documenting current installation-specific workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and GeoBase program functional processes to ensure sustained and reliable operations Coordinate and execute GIS data submissions and requests to authorized stakeholders and mission partners, including disaster response and emergency mapping and analysis support
