Omnicell Sales Development Associate in Denver, Colorado
Sales Associate
Omnicell has a unique multi-phase Sales Development Program that will provide college graduates with the training and resources to build a solid foundation for a successful and rewarding sales career with Omnicell. The multi-phase program involves working closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Consultants, Field Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Pharmacist and Nurse Consultants. This role is responsible for supporting the Sale Consultant and Field Sales teams, helping them to generate new business opportunities for both competitive conversions and existing customers. Individuals will demonstrate products/solutions tailored to the specific customer environment.
What You’ll Do
Sales Associates will develop acumen surrounding healthcare industry, hospital operations, Omnicell Products, Sales Skills, Strategic Sales Process, and Six Sigma tools and methodologies through training, customer observations, and self-study. This role is developed for future sales development and field sales positions. Performance is measured through quarterly business aligned objectives.
Field Sales Development (Sales Process Observations, Support) – 30%
Lead Generation/ Call Campaigns – 20%
On-Site Product Demonstrations/Tradeshows – 10%
Field Sales Support – 40%
Partner with Sales Consultants to provide Sales support
Continually support the Field and Sales Consultant teams to facilitate their ability to meet and exceed quota and maintain consistently high levels of performance
Partner with Sales Consultants on existing customer deals and relationships, serving as the internal corporate contact
Assist with the support and execution of competitive customer conversions
Cultivate strategic relationships with our customers in partnership with experienced Field or Sales Development Representatives via virtual and physical channels

Participate in on-site meetings and workflow assessments to learn how a hospital or facility is organized and managed

Research, support, and assist in preparation for customer-focused presentations and lead customer product demonstrations
Assist Sales Consultants in business planning on ongoing account discovery
Direct inbound leads from external customers to appropriate process owner
Facilitate internal CRM software workflows
Facilitate national account support
Support large/mega deals through internal processes
Support Sales Development and Field Sales with business planning, quoting and contracting efforts
Provide proposal pricing, contract, and sales operations support to field sales by developing acumen of internal Finance, Legal, and Operations processes
Observe and support all phases of the sales process
Participate and achieve a passing score in all sales skills, business acumen, and product trainings
Utilize Omnicell’s CRM software and other necessary tools for accurate and detailed data capture and metrics

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, or Communications or Similar
Internship, Part-time job, or academic project in a corporate environment associated with major field of study
Preferred Qualifications :
- Sales or Business-related experience in corporate environment
