Dish Network Senior Software Test Engineer in DENVER, Colorado

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Senior Software Test Engineer sought by DISH Network, LLC in Denver, CO.

Design and build automation frameworks. Design, create, and maintain automation test scripts. Review automation test scripts for coding best practice and ease of maintainability perspective. Provide technical leadership and mentorship around testing, automation, and frameworks. Coordinate and manage a single application project from a test perspective, including assigned resources and testing progress. Develop and review the test plans and test coverage including scope definition, resource identification, risks and schedule. Lead requirements and test design/case reviews, perform test case reviews with other team members. Represent the test team in project status meeting and communicate issues appropriately. Compile and analyze metrics on testing activities and generate testing status reports during the testing phase.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Position requires: Requires Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or closely related. Also requires 5 years of work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

  • Java

  • Integrating automated tests with dev ops

  • Designing, building and maintaining automation frameworks

  • SQL

  • Software testing techniques, methodologies, policies, and procedures

  • Testing toolsets such as ALM, Selenium, or SoapUI

Alternatively, will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, plus 2 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or closely related. Also requires 2 years of work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

  • Java

  • Integrating automated tests with dev ops

  • Designing, building and maintaining automation frameworks

  • SQL

  • Software testing techniques, methodologies, policies, and procedures

  • Testing toolsets such as ALM, Selenium, or SoapUI

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $128,398.00/Year - $128,398.00/Year
