Noblis SIGINT Systems Engineer - Operational Threat Lead in Denver, Colorado

Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking a SIGINT Systems Engineer to work on complex projects crucial to national security objectives. He/she will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to assist the government in implementing and executing systems engineering processes to integrate capabilities into the operational baseline at a customer facility in Denver, CO.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Function as the Operational Thread Lead (OTL) for Transition Implementation Plan (TIP) test and final integration on customer platforms

  • Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level systems architectures to assist in the development of new system requirements

  • Provide technical review and assessment of payload/mission development and readiness activities

  • Advise users in alternative operations for newly designed payloads and cross mission activities

  • Advise for enterprise-wide readiness activities for prelaunch, launch and checkout of mission systems to the TIP Director and Test Conductor

  • Conduct readiness activities associated with the space vehicle, payloads, and ground processing segments achieving initial and final operational capability

  • Advise on system performance criteria and evaluate performance of on-orbit vehicle system activities

  • Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status, presentations for customers; brief government and industry as required

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or relevant field, and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or relevant field, and seven (7) years or more experience

  • Experience with Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Information Operations (IO)

  • Experience delivering hardware and/or software systems

  • Demonstrated experience across full systems engineering and project management lifecycles

  • Expert in simultaneously managing multiple tasks and deliverables

  • Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics

  • Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment

  • Experience in preparing briefings and presenting to senior leadership

  • Master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders -- consensus builder

Desired Qualifications

  • 4-years’ experience in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling DoD or Intelligence Community projects or Programs

  • Systems engineering background and significant space and ground domain knowledge in customer mission technical capabilities and performance

  • Familiar with MBSE/Digital Engineering, Jira, Confluence; cloud technologies

  • Familiar with Agile development methodology

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $125,500.00 - USD $219,600.00 /Yr.
