*A Typical Work Day May Include:\ *Respond to fire, medical, and other emergencies.\ Lay and connect hoses to hydrants.\ Operate fire apparatus, aerial devices, nozzles, pumps, handheld fire extinguishers, and other emergency equipment.\ Work in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) atmospheres for the protection of life and property.\ Perform rescues and administer basic life support to victims and patients.\ Participate in formal and phased intensive training and instruction sessions.

*What Will Put You Ahead:\ *Previous firefighting experience, military experience, paramedic certification and other firefighting certifications.\ Knowledge of methods, principles, and practices of modern firefighting operation andtechniques.\ Ability to operate firefighting vehicles and equipment.
