Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Workers to join our team in Wayne County. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Administer medication as prescribed and document care provided.
• Foster a supportive and nurturing environment to enhance the client's quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in direct care, caregiving, or a related field is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Current TB test.
• First Aid certification.
• Access to a smartphone.
