Henry Ford Health System Plastic Surgeon in Detroit, Michigan

Henry Ford Health (HFH ), in Southeast Michigan, is seeking a board eligible/certified Plastic Surgeon to join an expanding practice at Henry Ford Hospital located in Detroit, Michigan and Henry Ford Medical Center – Fairlane located in Dearborn, Michigan. This position entails the potential for broad spectrum plastic surgery as well as a practice with special emphasis on hand and microsurgery .

The position offers:

· Access to state-of-the-art surgical equipment

· Opportunities to train medical students, residents and fellows

· Academic appointments available for those who qualify through Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Wayne State University School of Medicine

· Supportive staff of nurses, APPs and Mas

· OR time at level 1 trauma center and ambulatory surgery sites

HFH is an academic institution encouraging staff to participate in teaching and research opportunities at its main hospital in Detroit and 30 outpatient centers. Qualifications:

Must be board certified in Plastic Surgery

Board eligible candidates must be certified in the first three years of employment

Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Surgery of the Hand preferred
