Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative discipline, mathematics, data science, applied statistics, economics, finance or a related field
3 years of credit risk management experience
5 years of experience leveraging large, complex datasets
Understanding of consumer credit risk trends
Advanced experience using SQL, Python/R and BI reporting or other querying languages to create and analyze data sets in a business setting
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
5 years of financial services experience within the FinTech industry
Job Summary
As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you'll lead credit risk assessments, growth and risk mitigation efforts for lending products. You'll develop and maintain credit policies and offer strategies to drive growth while managing risk by leveraging advanced analytics tools.
Responsibilities
Design and iterate financial models to make data driven decisions
Propose A/B tests, analyze post implementation data to understand risk-return trade-offs and make product recommendations
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to implement strategies and monitor the strategy performance
Perform user testing to monitor implementation and sign off for the launch
Continue to innovate by testing new data, analytics approaches and models
Conduct ad-hoc and ongoing analysis on internal and external datasets to generate insights and make recommendations
Present findings and recommendations to the key stakeholders in the organization
Monitor post implementation data, evaluate the success of the strategy and present findings to stakeholders
Collaborate with data science, capital markets and risk functions
Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure strategies and policies comply with all the regulatory requirements
