Manufacturing Analytics Manager
The Manufacturing Analytics Manager is responsible for servicing Niagara Bottling plants and corporate teams through leading the analytics team in analyzing and developing reporting tools to drive decisions and change. Through leveraging key partnerships, data mining, and data analysis, this role focuses on various projects within Niagara’s Manufacturing teams.
Essential Functions
Lead Reporting & Analysis
Financials:
Oversee the tracking and development of Total Cost of Ownership models for plant assets
Continued maintenance/monitoring of Manufacturing Financial KPIs in partnership with Finance Analytics – Manufacturing team (particularly R&M)
Manufacturing:
Tracking and trending of finished goods production (by line, by site, by region)
Line and machine level performance from raw material to finish good
Downtime & Line Utilization analysis
Production Input Analysis focused on effective utilization
Distribution and Warehousing:
Analysis of inventory accuracy/levels and determining appropriate actions to reduce spend and increase cost savings
Inventory Planning Analysis for Finish Goods (MSA)
Monitor part transactions for recommendation on plant min/max level adjustment
Procurement:
Manufacturing Site Spend and Budgeting
Analysis by Expense Type
Analysis and reporting of purchasing spend by site by all maintenance organizations on a regular basis (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.)
Team, Development, & Support
Supervision & Development of the Manufacturing Analytics Team
Collaboration with Corporate Niagara Teams (i.e. Supply Chain, IT, Legal, Finance, etc.) to ensure continued integration of data & technologies for Manufacturing
Able to work with and influence individuals throughout the organization with/without direct authority
Supervise the creation of new reporting tools to improve visibility and understanding of metrics, financials, inventory, procurement transactions, etc.
Continuous & open communication with Technical Services Director and Managers regarding bottlenecks, obstacles, opportunities
Understand that role and team are a service and support function for the manufacturing plants and other corporate teams
Building relationships with team members across multiple departments
Look to streamline any existing processes, working with end users and other teams to execute and implement
Responsible for additional ‘corporate’ level project(s) to develop and enhance effectiveness of the Manufacturing Analytics Team across the entire company.
This position requires up to 25% travel

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
6 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
4 Years – Experience in Position
4 Years – Experience managing people/projects

10+ Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
6 Years – Experience working in Position

Proficiency in, but not limited to:

New System Implementation & Administration
Experience with modeling and analysis including machine learning, statistical analysis, operations research and management science and data mining.
Able to translate data into recommendable actions to senior staff
Able to develop a thorough understanding of existing processes to conceptualize process improvements and deliver tangible results
Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Education
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's Degree (Machine learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or similar)
Preferred:
- Master's Degree (Machine learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or similar)
Typical Compensation Range
Pay Rate Type: Salary
$128,287.00 - $186,016.00 / Yearly
Bonus Target: 10% Annual
