ASRC Federal Holding Company Foreign Disclosure Security Specialist in DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, District Of Columbia

ASRC Federal Professional Services is seeking a dynamic self-starter with experience in Foreign Disclosure (FD) to support the Joint Staff's Designated Disclosure Authority (DDA) at the Pentagon.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews foreign disclosure cases and assists the DDA in drafting policies and producers that support the DDA's implementation of Executive Orders, DoD issuances, and other higher level directives.

  • Supports the DDA by staffing and coordinating cases through the Joint Staff Action Processing System (JSAP) and other systems of record, to relevant directorates, offices, and the combatant commands in accordance with FD instructions, guidance, and policy.

  • Monitors the National Disclosure Policy System (NDPS) and provides real time updates to the DDA on status of pending cases.

  • Builds and reviews packages for accuracy and completeness prior to DDA NDPS submission.

  • Provides support to DDA reviews of production, policy, and requests that require Joint Staff DDA review and input.

  • Maintains files, documents, and policies in line with DDA's guidance.

The FD Assistant will also support FD management activities like:

  • Assisting the DDA development of program policy and support

  • Maintaining National Disclosure Policy System (NDPS)Staffing disclosure team action packages

  • Drafting memorandums and support actions

  • Managing files and records (MOA, MOU, DDL, approvals, etc.) for each FDO action

The FD Specialist requires routine access to classified systems for duty performance. Telework options are limited, work will primarily be on-site.

Requirements :

  • Applicant must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to enable successful accomplishment of the contract's assigned JSSO mission.

  • 5+ years of experience in related work.

  • Applicant shall be experienced in receiving and responding to correspondence; tracking and managing tasks; developing and managing a suspense system; reviewing documents for completeness, correctness, and accuracy; returning documents to originator for additional information; contacting originator for clarification of information submitted; requesting additional documents as needed; and submitting appropriate request information.

  • Applicant will be able to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and orally.

  • Must have a current active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility to meet requirements.

Education/Experience:

  • Must have excellent time management and communication skills able to balance multiple deadlines.

  • Experience in Microsoft (MS) Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS SharePoint.

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in foreign disclosure activities across all categories of Classified Military Information (CMI).

  • Completion of foreign disclosure training.

  • Experience in security cooperation or support to foreign military sales process.

  • Experience in partner engagement strategies.

  • Experience in drafting memorandum for record and other relevant templates for senior level audience.
