Job Title: Licensed Practical NurseJob Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the delivery of care to residents according to established plans of care and under the supervision of the professional registered nurse. This position involves supporting and promoting the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the nursing department. The role includes assisting in the planning and carrying out of direct care to residents based on the nursing care plan, administering medications and treatment as per care plans and doctors’ orders, and performing special nursing procedures as required. The nurse will also assist in meeting the nutritional needs of the residents, observe them for changes in physical, social, or behavioral status, and report and document signs and symptoms to the nurse in charge of the unit according to policy. Participation in service education programs and maintaining good working relationships with all employees, visitors, and residents are essential aspects of this role.
Hard Skills
High School Diploma
Certificate or Diploma from an L.P.N. program
Current License Must be In Good Standing in New York
Computer skills and Knowledge of Microsoft office

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
Work Environment
Located in Westchester County, NY with multiple shifts available including 1st Shift (7:00 am - 3:00pm), 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11pm), and 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am). Must be available to work every other weekend across all shifts.
