What are your contributions to the team?
Analyst - Road Safety and Transport Regulator for heavy vehicles
Submit and maintain the Register of Owners and Operators of heavy vehicles, as to be authorized to operate a heavy vehicle in Bombardier, owners and operators are required to register in the Registre des propriétaires et des exploitants de véhicules lourds (register of owners and operators of heavy vehicles) of the Commission des transports du Québec.
Participate and centralize the Record Keeping, as heavy vehicle operators are required to keep a record on every driver whose services they use.
Ensure compliance to driving and off-duty time management, as heavy vehicle drivers must comply with the requirements concerning driving and off-duty time and keep track of their hours in a record of duty status.
Create and standardize procedures and monitoring of mechanical maintenance.
Develop a continuous improvement program for Bombardier’s Transportation department.
Create and perform audit on Bombardier’s road safety policies, as part of SAAQ strategic plan to improve road safety records.
How to thrive in this role?
You have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Supply Chain Operations and Logistics Management or a Certificate in Transportation Logistics or equivalent experience.
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
You understand the act established for owners, operators, and drivers of heavy vehicles.
You can work in a team, communicate, and take charge of different projects.
You work with minimal supervision.
You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
