The ideal candidate has fluency with the onboarding process for new hires including I-9 forms, employee data changes, and timely communication with all parties. This role is a temporary role with the potential to turn into a permanent role. This role has the opportunity for a hybrid schedule after training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the onboarding process from offer acceptance to the first day and beyond, ensuring timely communication with candidates, contractors, and hiring managers.
  • Complete I-9 forms, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files. Coordinate and execute on/off-boarding activities.
  • Manage employee data changes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Serve as point of contact for inquiries, support, and troubleshooting. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports using system to provide insights into HR metrics and trends.
  • Manage employee records, including but not limited to maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist with HR-related events, programs, and initiatives. Provide administrative support to the HR team in various areas, including benefits administration, employee relations, recruiting, and training programs.
  • Respond to inquiries from employees related to benefits, timesheets, employment policies, and payroll.
  • Assist with planned internal audits, including compliance with background checks, I-9s, training, and other employment documents.
  • Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects as assigned related to the smooth and effective operations of HR.

Qualifications

  • 2 years\' experience working in HR, ideally a Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • High proficiency in Human Capital Management (HCM) software
  • Proficient in analyzing and interpreting background checks and completing I-9s and eVerify.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Detailed oriented and easily adaptable. Able to learn quickly.
  • Ability to assess and make recommendations for process improvement.
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
