Whim Hospitality Assistant Restaurant General Manager - Tillie's in Dripping Springs, Texas
Camp Lucy, a Texas’ premier wine country resort, is seeking a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager for Tillie’s Restaurant & Bar. This person should not only bring their talent but also their excitement to create an amazing holistic experience to everyone that walks through the doors. You will be a part of the management team leading the front of house operations for our highly stylized, ‘American Nouveau’ restaurant fashioned out of a 19th-century Vietnamese town hall with inspirations from around the world. This will be an exciting move for anyone and the beginning of many more opportunities to come within the resort.
Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day operations on-site at Tillie's
Aid in ensuring proper practices for liquor, wine, and accountability
Run the dining experience and ensure all customers are satisfied
Lead service staff, bartenders, and bussers
Assist in the development of the beverage program and service standards
Develop programs for guest experience around the food and beverage areas
Shape the wine menu with the management team
Onboard and train new staff
Ordering, Inventory, and weekly checks for the beverage program
Candidate Qualities
Personality and charisma
Must be well-groomed and able to represent the company well
Must represent self with the highest level of integrity while maintaining a service-focused approach
Excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve and great time management skills
Must be proficient in working on a computer, and ready to quickly learn event software programs
Restaurant management or supervisorial experience
Sommelier certification is a plus
