Drummond Dolomite, Inc. General Laborer - Utility - Temporary/Seasonal in Drummond Island, Michigan
General Laborer - Utility - Temporary/Seasonal position requirements include, but are not limited to, general plant labor and clean-up of production areas; maintenance, observation, monitoring and reporting any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity; being trained in various entry-level production positions and filling in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demands. Operating small equipment; replacing or assisting other workers as needed or directed; and other duties as assigned by management. Millwright experience and/or experienced equipment operators preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- General labor and clean-up of production areas.
- Observe, monitor and report any conditions which could lead to product nonconformity.
- Operate heavy equipment/machinery in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain/secure all equipment in compliance with MSHA, and company policies and guidelines.
- Replace or assist other works as needed or directed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
