What You Will Do: Champion the Enbridge Vision, Values, and Path to Zero Principles with internal stakeholders and external Contractors/subcontractors/suppliers and vendors. Advance safety culture by promoting the understanding and application of Enbridge Human and Risk Tolerance Factors, Precursors, and Energy based hazard recognition with internal stakeholders and external Contractors /subcontractors /suppliers and vendors. Manage performance and lead, develop, coach, mentor and motivate Regional Safety Advisors. Provide safety leadership coaching to Regional Leadership in LP US Operations. Establish and maintain effective relationships with field personnel through active involvement in field activities. Facilitate safety culture development, measurement, and support activities. Provide technical support as required to guide consistent and effective implementation of the OH&S Management System. Interface with Compliance, Internal Audit, Regulators, and other 3rd parties completing safety audits, reviews, inspections and/or investigations and oversee development and timely completion of associated corrective action plans. Assist with development and manage implementation of management system assurance and provide oversight of associated corrective action plans. Lead and support the implementation of event management processes to ensure their effectiveness inclusive of the incident notification processes; event analysis, injury management, corrective action implementing effectiveness, and lessons learned bulletin communications. Assist and support regional safety resources responding to emergencies within the structure of the Incident Command S system. Assist the office safety team in delivery of services within the administrative offices in the US as requested. Promote industry best practices by monitoring industry trends and identifying new technologies. Promote industry best practices by monitoring industry trends and identifying new technologies. Who You Are: You have the following education & experience: Occupational health & safety related degree, diploma, or certification. Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible health and safety experience including experience implementing health & safety management systems, programs, and tools within an operations environment within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry is preferred. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered. Further education, training or experience specifically related to supervision, auditing and root cause analysis techniques would be an asset. Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, training and coaching/mentoring skills. Demonstrated ability to be innovative, strategic, initiate and manage change, work collaboratively, negotiate, influence, facilitate, solve problems, make decisions, work independently, balance multiple priorities, and deliver results. Proven interpersonal, communication, writing and computer skills. Must have a valid driver's license. Further education, training and experience related to High Reliability Organizing philosophies and Human Performance methodologies would be an asset.
