Job Summary:

Dundee Products is a locally owned and operated fabricator of steel tubing. Our dedicated team work together to create a quality product that they are proud of and our customers appreciate. The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient and accurate execution of administrative/clerical duties for the Operations team, including serving as the company's receptionist.

Schedule: Flexible schedule available, approximately 10-20 hours/week Monday - Thursday beginning in August 2024.

  1. Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
  2. Welcomes and directs visitors, vendors, customers, etc.
  3. Maintains the company's customer service email and voicemail lines, responding to requests or routing them as appropriate, in a timely (same business day) manner.
  4. Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings and appointments for managers as needed.
  5. Maintains and restocks office supplies and coordinates maintenance of various office equipment.
  6. Makes copies, scans documents and maintains them in orderly electronic records, files documents.
  7. Creates Job Cards daily at the instruction of the Operations Director.
  8. Sorts and distributes incoming/outgoing mail daily.
  9. Work simultaneously on multiple ongoing projects.
  10. Comply with required attendance policy and be physically at assigned location to fulfill job functions.
  11. Works harmoniously with others with exemplary interpersonal skills.
  12. Works on strict deadlines which require prompt attention to detail and reliable attendance.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification/Licensing/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Previous demonstrated experience (preferably > 1 year) in administrative support capacity; previous manufacturing environment experience a plus.
  3. Proficient in all MS Office programs.
