Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Casino Surveillance Investigator in Durant, Oklahoma
Job Purpose or Objective(s): ​Conduct in-depth investigations into individuals that pose a threat to Choctaw Casino. Document investigations through reports with detailed narratives and timelines. Use multiple resources and technology to identify persons of interest and create intel files on each. You will report to the Surveillance Supervisor.
Full Time | Must be able to work holidays and weekends | Evening Shift
Primary Tasks:
will investigate, confirm, and document, reports of criminal and suspicious activities occurring in Choctaw Casinos and on Choctaw property.
Document and investigate possible violations of the BSA/AML compliance program by guests and associates.
Maintain surveillance information technologies to identify and confirm persons of interest, trends, and other relevant information necessary for investigations.
Use video management system to preserve video evidence for ongoing investigations and tracking.
You will evaluate information from multiple sources and data mining techniques to identify signs of fraud or theft, conduct investigations, and issue investigation reports.
Collaborate with Compliance, Tribal Police, Manager on Duty, and Admin to facilitate and capture case material for ongoing investigations
Create detailed intel files on suspects involved in criminal activity.
Participate with other investigators, surveillance operators, supervisors, and specialists to update the status of ongoing cases and investigations.
Communicate with all surveillance and external associates by email, phone, or in-person. Testify in court cases as subject matter expert.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience or 4 years related experience.
Professional certification in BSA and AML Compliance, or commitment to complete within (1) year.
Competency with computer applications and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and other investigative resources. Typing skills of at least 40 wpm.
And adjust priorities according to changes in deadlines, events, and emergent events.
Excellent, Accurate Vision to distinguish colors, shapes and assess scenes.
Two (2) years of surveillance, audit, regulatory compliance, risk management, or comparable work experience.
