This position is responsible for the management and oversight of the individual/group agent of record process to ensure compliance with agent/agency agreements and to provide ongoing support for the appointment process and auditing requirements for licensing and appointing of agents/agencies. This position is also responsible to provide support and back up to channel team members. A Day in the Life: Manage day-to-day operations for agent of record changes. Primary point of contact for internal and external agents and vendor partners for the agent-of record changes. Track, report and analyze agent of record process and changes to ensure compliance with agreements. Manage less complex agent/agency appointments and provide support for monitoring of the agent/agency agreements, licensing, EandO coverage, production, and license renewal for external and internal agents to ensure they are in compliance with contract, state and federal requirements. Maintain adequate records around the monitoring and auditing of the appointment process for internal and external agents. Participate with internal business partners to respond to or implement audit plans. Facilitate the following agent/agency issues: agent of record inquiries, agent/agency demographic updates, password resets, reports, etc., as needed. Required Skills and Experiences: 2+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. Must be able to work effectively with cross functional groups and participate in problem solving process. Must be self-motivated with strong initiative to learn. Fundamental knowledge of health insurance regulations at both the state and federal levels. Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong emphasis on the ability to build collaborative relationships. Ability to work independently. Training or experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
