Aerotek Electrical Assembler in East Aurora, New York

Job Title: Electronic Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler and contribute to the safety and comfort of commercial flight passengers. You will be responsible for packaging and assembling flashlight battery packs, first aid and survival kits, and demo bags for flight attendants. Your tasks will include reading work orders, following production drawings, using sample assemblies to make panel parts, and following written and verbal instructions. You will use required personal protective equipment (PPE) safely and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for positioning and aligning parts, joining or securing parts in place through various methods, and installing finished assemblies or subassemblies.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to solder

  • Ability to follow production drawings

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Experience in assembling and attaching hardware

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in East Aurora, New York.

Work Environment

This position operates in a well-lit, very quiet, and temperature-controlled environment. The environment is also static controlled, which may cause some manageable humidity in parts of the plant. Work hours include a Monday-Thursday work week with 9-hour days and every other Friday off. Shifts available are First shift: 6am-3:30pm, Second shift: 3:15pm-12:45am, and Split shift: 1 or 2pm - 9 or 10pm.
