Aspen Aerogels® is a rapidly growing aerogel technology company founded in 2001 to capitalize on patented advances in aerogel manufacturing. The Industrial Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning/janitorial services and upkeep in and around the Finishing Department and its warehouses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for routine housekeeping items broken up by hourly/daily/weekly/ and monthly tasks.

• Responsible for housekeeping both in 3 Dexter and the Finishing side of 1 Dexter.

• Responsible for aiding in monthly and weekly equipment cleaning tasks.

• Responsible for annual and semi-annual painting and minor repair tasks.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

  QUALIFICATIONS:

• No prior experience or training.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl

• While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually loud

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 5lbs pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs_ pounds / continually lift and/or move up to __50lbs pounds.
