Custom military power supplies, power controls and other quality products manufacturer is hiring for a Electronic Assembler/Wirer for their military and defense facility located in East Setauket. This is a permanent opportunity. Candidates with prior IPC-610 and J-standard experience are encouraged to ! Responsibilities
Read blueprints, and schematics to understand how components should be assembled and wired together.
Assemble electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits onto circuit boards or other platforms according to specifications.
Precise soldering of components onto circuit boards or other substrates is often a critical part of the job.
Build and install wire harnesses and cable assemblies, which involves cutting wires to specified lengths, stripping insulation, crimping connectors, and routing wires neatly according to diagrams.
Basic testing of assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements
