Robert Half Program Assistant in East Syracuse, New York
Description We are seeking a Program Assistant to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in East Syracuse, New York. This role involves building positive relationships within the community, empowering educators, and implementing PAX GBG and PAX Tools in an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
• Cultivate positive relationships with educators, support staff, administration, and the community.
• Empower educators to implement PAX GBG and PAX Tools in their classrooms.
• Organize and present PAX Tools Community Workshops to parents, caregivers, and community-based providers.
• Conduct regular classroom observations, provide constructive feedback, and acknowledge improvements.
• Show flexibility and creativity in promoting PAX GBG and PAX Tools.
• Promote the introduction of PAX GBG and PAX Tools to children in both educational and community settings.
• Collaborate with district, funders, and Supervisor to enhance PAX GBG and PAX Tools at each site.
• Ensure consistent implementation of PAX GBG core components among students, educators, and relevant school staff.
• Conduct weekly site visits to each PAX GBG classroom to provide support, coaching, modeling, and feedback.
• Document educator and school progress through notes, data collection/entry, and analysis.
• Collect, analyze, and report school/district outcome data and compile reports as required by funders.
• Provide and/or support the delivery of detail-oriented development to school support staff and teaching staff.
• Attend staff meetings and perform other duties at the request of Supervisor, Team Leader, and Executive Director. Requirements • Proficient in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints in a detail oriented and efficient manner.
• Experience in data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Skilled in email correspondence, ensuring clear and detail oriented communication.
• Able to handle both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating strong multitasking capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of managing and organizing data effectively.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, able to manage emails, arrange meetings, and organize tasks.
• Able to create and present impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, able to create, format, and edit documents effectively.
• Experience in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings. TalentMatch®
