You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.
How you will contribute
You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

More about this role
Under the direction of the Quality Leader, this role will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled quality inspection of products, testing method, sampling process and support to ensure GMP conditions for the purpose of achieving manufacturing goals, quality standards, consumer/customer expectations and safety requirements.
Education / Certifications:
Post-Secondary diploma in a Quality Control/Quality Assurance area is required, Engineering and Food Science is preferred.
Engineering courses are preferred.
2 years minimum work experience in a Quality Control/Quality Assurance environment is preferred.
Job sp ecific requirements:
Strong computer skills (Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams) including Windows software and plant informational systems (SAP, SharePoint).
Exposure to electronic systems to monitor quality parameters i.e Quality Suite
Strong understanding of plant Quality Programs, including HACCP, Metal Detection, Calibration, CoA’s, Specifications, documentation control
The successful candidate must be a responsible and reliable self-starter who is capable of working effectively with little supervision.
Team player with a positive attitude, working well with others.
Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to read and write English proficiently.
Demonstrated interest and concern for quality and keen observation skills and a keen desire to learn.
Must be a strong performer who demonstrates reliability, an excellent attendance record, excellent teamwork and strong self-directed, individual and group work ethic.
Work schedule:
Flexibility to work any shift as needed (including weekends).
Availability to start working immediately.
