Nordson Corporation Process Technician II (PTFE) Shift C (Day7a-7:15p: Wed/Thur --> Sat 12.25 Hour; 11.75 Hours Paid) - in Easton, Pennsylvania

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and sustain technical understanding of PTFE compounding, Preforming/Extrusion, and Processing (downstairs).
Provides technical understanding to qualifying PTFE employees. Provides technical assessments as directed.
Owns the methods, machine (& tooling), measure, mother nature standards (work instructions) to reflect current best practice.
Supports the department's focus on Environmental, Health, and safety (Journey-To-Zero) by shifting EHS exposures up the Control Hierarchy (PPE --> Elimination).
Owns RCCAPA (Root Cause, Corrective Action / Preventive Action) as assigned.
Monitors the quality of the product being produced to ensure all proper workmanship standards are met to meet COPQ and OTD goals. Capture information in audits
Drives continuous improvement & cost reductions through assign project work and actions.
Facilitates NBS's Next business model at the production floor level and support achievement of departmental KPI's.
Provides technical support of process and product developments. Collect and analyze results of trials.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
May require 3-5 years of applicable (PTFE) experience.
Advanced Knowledge of mechanical functions of process, materials, and their interactions.
1st shift hours-7:00 AM-3:30 PM Monday-Friday
Pay: $26.00 hour
Skills and Abilities
Understanding of PTFE materials, Process, Test Methods, and Work Instructions.
Strong troubleshooting & analytical skills which permit data-based conclusions.
Abilities to use systems such as IFS, MS Office suite, departmental applications.
Strong written skills. Abilities to summarize trial & RCCAPA work and write & update work instructions.
Abilities to plan & organize multiple priorities.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
