As a Channel Sales Director specializing in Additive Manufacturing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive channel sales strategy to drive growth and revenue within the rapidly evolving 3D printing and additive manufacturing industry. You will lead efforts to establish and nurture relationships with channel partners to promote and sell our cutting-edge additive manufacturing solutions. Your role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, increasing market share, and driving innovation through collaborative partnerships.

What you will be doing:

Channel Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic channel sales plan, identifying target markets and partners that align with our additive manufacturing offerings.

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard channel partners, nurturing these relationships to maximize mutual success.

  • Collaborate with channel partners to ensure exceptional customer experiences and prompt issue resolution.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of channel sales initiatives.

Sales Performance

  • Provide training, marketing collateral, and technical support to channel partners, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote and sell our additive manufacturing solutions effectively.

  • Monitor and analyze channel sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to drive improvements and meet revenue targets.

  • Negotiate partnership agreements, pricing, and terms to establish mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging technologies within additive manufacturing to identify new business opportunities.

Channel Leadership

  • Coach and develop Channel Sales Managers to provide them with the appropriate tools and knowledge to lead Partner Sellers in efficient opportunity management. 2 to 7 direct reports and 0 to 7 indirect reports.

  • Collaborate cross functionally with internal teams to support the revenue growth of our organization and our Channel Partners.

  • Lead the Quarterly Business Planning process with assigned Channel Partners

  • Collaborate cross functionally with internal teams to ensure our Channel Sales processes are efficient and effective.

Must have for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience

  • 8+ years sales experience in the engineering, manufacturing, and/or solution sales industries

  • 5+ years in sales leadership

  • Knowledge of engineering or manufacturing processes is preferred

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate high-volume, goal-oriented sales on a proactive and sustained basis

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience using SalesForce.com (http://Foce.com) or CRM tool

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience analyzing and reporting on key analytics

  • Proven record of meeting/exceeding established goals

  • Manage individual, incentive plans with finance team.

  • Evaluate prospective database needs and requirements

  • Ability to work well with others

Travel required: Up to 40%
