We need a transit titan to join our detail squad and banish bus crud from morning commutes to Prime-time rides. Be a hero for weary passengers join the team that makes every ride a sparkling escape! The Vehicle Detailer is a temporary position during the State Fair. We are looking for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. This position at SouthWest Transit reports to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and is responsible for keeping our vehicles clean and at high standards for our riders. The person in this role must have strong attention to detail and have a passion for cleanliness. Applications may be reviewed as they are submitted. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Perform daily detailing of buses and other vehicles, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. - Thoroughly clean the interior of buses, leaving no area untouched. - Vacuum, sweep, mop, and remove trash in vehicles. - Assist in maintaining company property as needed. - Track and record washing and cleaning schedules. - Maintain a safe working area and operate wash equipment following safety guidelines. - Other duties as assigned.
