Ebenezer Corporate Billing Specialist in Edina, Minnesota
Overview
- Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with competitive benefits and wages ranging from $67,700 - $95,000 Annually. All Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.
We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our Ebenezer Corporate team! This position is responsible for all billing activities related to the Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) billing operations and all functions of accounts receivable process including billings, collections, and month end processes. This position monitors all activities related to deposits and, census information systems. This billing specialist schedule includes;
80 hours every two weeks
Full time, day shifts
No weekends

Responsibilities/Job Description
Manages and supervises the A/R Process
Manages financial application of Electronic Health Record
Resident Trust Fund: Assures cash receipts are recorded and deposited according to corporate guidelines
Accounts Payable process
Serves as liaison between the Corporate Accountant and Business Office functions
Assures HIPAA compliance
Performs other duties as assigned and directed
Qualifications
Required:
High school Diploma/GED
One to three years of previous experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Long term care electronic claim submission with Medicare A and B, Medicaid and managed care payers. Payment posting and contractual adjustments and knowledge of MA application process.
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree: Finance/Accounting
Three to five years of previous experience
Familiar with: Medicare Remote System, eProviders, MN-ITS and Electronic Health Record - iCIMS
