Job Summary:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, positive, industrious individual to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. The Machinist is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per customer demands. This position is an afternoon position working from 4pm to 2am Monday to Thursday. Responsibilities
Work in a fast-paced team environment.
Pre-use inspection on equipment before starting the job.
Read and interpret drawings per the job.
Select proper tooling for the job.
Follow appropriate work instructions per the job.
Follow the QHSE policy and procedures.
Communicate process and safety improvements throughout the shop.
Machine set-ups where required.
Other duties as required.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Technical college diploma or journeyman certification.
Ability to read and interpret G-code.
Familiar with Mazak and Fanuc controls.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
