Primary Purpose: Under the supervision of the Director of Business Development, this position is responsible for acting as the primary contact for clients on the phone or in person, ensuring all client requirements are met with respect to data accuracy, regulatory requirements, turnaround time, pricing and consumable orders.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Fielding customer Environment testing enquiries and questions
Receiving feedback from clients and arranging appropriate responses to needs
Communicating to customers any deficiencies in samples or chain of custody data
Discussing the project with the client to ensure clarity of the requirements, if necessary
Preparing bottle orders for customer service and arranging transportation if necessary
Work with department supervisors to track client data to ensure on time delivery
Communicate any anticipated delays to customer prior due date
Follow up on any DQR requests from customers
Log in/receive samples
Invoice projects
Managing EDDs & customer uploads to specified database(s)
Occasionally prepare quotations with the guidance of the Sales Executives
Assist with Administration tasks
Sending and validating test results/reports
Adhere to ISO, NIOSH, ASTM, OSHA, etc.
Follow ISO accreditation policies and procedures, and company policies and procedures
Other related duties as assigned.
University degree or college diploma in a related scientific field
Good understanding of IT and PC applications and software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Aquis etc.)
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
LIMS and transfer program experience considered an asset
Self-starter, ambitious and energetic
Lab experience considered an asset
Environmental testing experience considered an asset
Regulatory experience considered an asset
