Aerotek Quality Technician in Eldridge, Iowa

Job Description:

We are currently looking to hire Quality Technicians to assist with the production and manufacturing of various firearms! As a quality technician, you will engage in collecting data, overseeing inspections, and programming CMM or VMM machines. You will be trained to utilize cutting-edge quality technology, partake in the problem-solving process, and brainstorm as well as implement corrective action solutions under the guidance of the Quality Engineer.

Hard Skills

  • CMM programming

  • VMM programming

  • GD&T experience (preferred)

  • PLMs experience

  • Blueprint reading

  • Precision measuring tools (micrometer/caliper, etc.)

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving

  • Team collaboration

  • Ability to follow instructions

Work Environment

This role involves being 80-90% on the manufacturing floor with structured hours from 7am-3:15pm. The team includes 2 quality engineers and 2 other technicians in a well-lit, clean, and updated facility. The environment can be loud at times with exposure to fumes or airborne particles and working near moving mechanical parts. Our team operates like a family, supporting each other in a dynamic work setting.
