Our client, a leader in the transportation industry, is seeking a Router to join their team. As a Router, you will be part of the Transportation Department supporting the Warehouse Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to customer service which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $21.00
What's the Job?
Control driver, truck, and route productivity by ensuring that each truck carries a full load.
Schedule loads to minimize the use of third-party drivers and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
Maintain daily dispatch logs and communicate effectively with various departments.
Investigate customer complaints regarding lost or damaged merchandise or shortages in shipment.
Monitor driver performance in the field to ensure routes are executed efficiently.
What's Needed?
At least one year of routing experience.
Basic proficiency with Word and Excel.
Basic knowledge of the distribution industry and DOT compliance.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
