Overview and Essential Functions
What you’ll do
You will
Warehouse Assistant prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from customers
Warehouse Assistant maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests
Maintains quality service by following organization standards
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Warehouse Assistant completes reports by entering required information
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Who we are looking for…
You are at least 18 years old
You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must have a valid driver's license and transportation
Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
Ability to avoid distracted driving including talking on cell phone, texting, emailing, messaging, etc.
Must have experience operating Forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials
At least one year experience on material handling and deliveries
