Description
We are offering a role based in Fort Lee, New Jersey. This role is for an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be working in a hybrid environment, splitting their time between our office and their home. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize systems knowledge to efficiently process accounting tasks
• Maintain and clean up old data in the system
• Manage purchase processes and create purchase orders
• Handle large volumes of data, including creating offsetting purchase orders
• Understand and apply knowledge of Accounts Payable or accounting flow
• Comprehend and execute the Purchase Order process
• Maintain and clean up Accounts Payable accounts
• Operate in a repetitive step environment
• Use Excel
Requirements
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable or similar role.
• Proficient in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP).
• Able to perform check runs and code invoices accurately.
• Skilled in data entry and invoice processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• High degree of professionalism and adherence to confidentiality and privacy policies.
