What you’ll do…

  • Install and remove utility poles with various pieces of equipment including Digger Derrick, excavators, and various hand tools both on and off road.

  • Set up and maintain work sites in various locations with an emphasis on safety.

  • Inspect and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

Who we are looking for…

  • You are at least 21 years old.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a Digger Derrick to set and remove utility poles.

  • You are authorized to work in the United States for this company.

  • You have a valid CDL A or B License (A preferred) with a minimum of 2 years driving experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with the telecommunications construction industry.

  • You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance.

  • Knowledge of Installation of aerial and underground cables and/or support members in conformance with all applicable codes, regulations, and customer specifications (NEC Electrical Code, System and/or City Specifications).
